1. Examination and planning
At the first session, an intraoral examination is performed and bone volume is assessed with 3D tomography. The length, diameter and position of the implant are planned based on these images.
2. Implant placement
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 20–40 minutes for a single implant. Most patients return to their daily lives the next day.
3. Healing period
Fusion of the implant with the bone (osseointegration) takes about 2–3 months in the lower jaw and 3–4 months in the upper jaw. During this period, a temporary tooth can be used in aesthetic areas.
4. Placing the permanent tooth
Once healing is complete, an impression is taken and a permanent porcelain or zirconia tooth is placed within 1–2 sessions.
In cases that require bone grafting, the process may take longer. We confirm the timeline specific to you after your examination.
